Missiles in the Malvinas: British exercise with Rafael technology from Milei's financier

Illegal militarization in the South Atlantic is advancing, and at its technological core lies an Argentine conflict: the Sky Sabre system uses Rafael technology, a company owned by Eduardo Elsztain.

It reinforces the accusation made by Gastón Alberdi, a former member of the Libertarian ruling party's inner circle.

The United Kingdom , the military power that maintains the illegal occupation of the Malvina Islands , has just concluded a new and challenging series of military exercises in the archipelago, Exercise KOP SHIELD . These maneuvers not only reaffirm the persistent British military usurpation, but also put the spotlight once again on a fact linked to the Argentine political-business ties: the presence of technology from the Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, controlled by the influential Argentine-Israeli businessman Eduardo Elsztain, at the heart of the British air defense system on the islands.

Sky Sabre System Evaluation: Reinforcing Encroachment

Developed by the British Army's 7th Air Defence Group, the trials focused on evaluating the advanced Sky Sabre anti-aircraft system, which replaced the older Rapier missiles. This system, with an effective range of 25 kilometers and 360° coverage, integrates state-of-the-art components from several suppliers.

According to reports from Zona Militar and Canal 26 , the exercise simulated real-world threat scenarios using BlueBear training drones as aerial targets, with the participation of Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets . The objective was to test the reaction, coordination, and command capabilities of the system and its operators.

Saab UK managing director Andy Fraser hailed the exercise as a "remarkable demonstration of the Sky Sabre system's capabilities," underlining the consolidation of British military infrastructure in occupied Argentine territory.

The Elsztain-Rafael Bond: The "Brain" of British Defense

The seriousness of the deployment lies in a crucial technological detail, which we highlighted last month in a report published by Agenda Malvinas : the Sky Sabre system uses the Modular, Integrated C4I Air & Missile Defense System (MIC4AD) software, developed by the Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems .

Although the United Kingdom did not purchase the missiles (which are MBDA Land Ceptor missiles), it did acquire the MIC4AD , which acts as the "brain" of the system. This command and control software connects the radar (Saab Giraffe) to the missile launchers, optimizing the response to airborne threats.

The political relevance is inescapable. Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is linked to businessman Eduardo Elsztain , the powerful real estate and financial magnate who was the prime financier and campaign patron of the current Argentine president, Javier Milei. The accusation, filed by Gastón Alberdi, a former member of the ruling party's inner circle, directly accuses Elsztain of providing the technology that supports the occupying power's air defense.

Key: The company linked to Elsztain provides the combat management system that ensures the effectiveness of the British military defense in the Malvina Islands , reinforcing the narrative of the dangerous fusion of private and geopolitical interests at the heart of Argentine sovereignty.

Urgent questions for the Argentine State

In the face of this new and provocative show of force by the British occupier, and the confirmation of the involvement of a businessman closely linked to the National Executive Branch in the hardware of the usurpation, a series of fundamental questions arise for the Argentine authorities:

The KOP SHIELD exercise and its inescapable connection to Rafael and Eduardo Elsztain's technology are not just military news; they are a strong warning about the complex network of interests operating against Argentine sovereignty in the South Atlantic, demanding a clear and forceful response from the Argentine State.
