The health system in Tierra del Fuego lacks doctors and has serious deficiencies; the province's social security system cannot meet the needs of hundreds of patients and has historical debts; the educational system is supported by the will of the teachers and many schools have chronic structural problems. Vast urban areas of Ushuaia, Río Grande and Tolhuin lack basic services for habitability, such as water, sewage, gas and electricity. The electricity generation system of the capital of Tierra del Fuego has collapsed. The state apparatus is overpopulated with political officials and sycophants. The state of Tierra del Fuego is in debt beyond all prudence. No strategic project has been launched and yet, the administration of Governor Gustavo Melella has the nerve to to offer the English invader who usurped the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia, the South Sandwich Islands and the South Atlantic; free care at the Rehabilitation Center that opened this Wednesday 21st, after several years of delay.
It offers free services to the same British invader who rejects any negotiation for the sovereignty of the archipelago within the framework of the United Nations; who violates international law; who has a NATO base installed in the Malvinas Islands; who plunders the Argentine fishing resources to the tune of 250 tons per year; who in the next few months will begin to exploit gas and oil from the León Marino/Sea Lion field ; who has verifiable reserves of 580 million barrels of oil; who plans to build a multimodal port complex in Puerto Argentino before 2027; who has set up a radar with military capacity in the centre of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego itself; and who makes no gesture to conceal the contempt he harbors towards the Argentine people.
To top it off, the spokesman for the government's generosity was the Secretary of Malvinas, Antarctica, South Atlantic and International Affairs, Andrés Dachary ; nephew of Lieutenant Alejandro Dachary , killed in combat on June 3, 1982 as a result of a missile launched against the Malvinas airstrip by a Vulcan aircraft. And also, son of Lieutenant Commander (R) Sergio Dachary ; also a Veteran of the Malvinas War.
On his Twitter account, the official posted the following, not in Spanish, but in English and with a notable hypocritical inspiration: “If you were born in our Malvinas, South Georgia or South Sandwich Islands, the Government of Tierra del Fuego offers you a public rehabilitation center of excellence and high complexity in the region to improve your quality of life. This center is aimed at the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients with physical, neurological and cognitive disorders with an interdisciplinary approach.”

This is a reprehensible and offensive offer not only against the 649 soldiers who died during the 1982 war, but also against the thousands of Argentine ex-combatants who, after 42 years of the South Atlantic war, still do not find in the National State and in the provinces the medical and psychiatric assistance that would allow them to overcome the deep after-effects left by the war.
Everything goes outward, for his own people; misery. The hallmark of a governor who increasingly resembles what he rejected and now, in a change of pace with the fervor of the converted; imitates.
