Within the framework of a new surveillance and control operation of Argentine sovereign maritime spaces, last week the Argentine patrol vessel ARA Storni detected infrequent movements of the trawler Lu Qing Yuan Yu 205 in the area of mile 200 off Comodoro. Rivadavia.

It is a fishing boat built in 2013, which is 65 meters long and 13 meters wide, which sails at a maximum speed of 14 knots and has a gross load capacity of 1,650 tons.

The aforementioned vessel operates from the port of Montevideo, from where it set sail on November 12 with the objective of fishing in the South Atlantic.
