It is the second operation that the Air Force carries out with this type of aircraft in Antarctica. “The success of the mission is the result of meticulous planning and rigorous training supported by the vast experience of our Institution's staff. It also becomes a milestone for the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces and for the Joint Antarctic Command since it allows the connectivity of the Base to be enhanced as an Antarctic logistics center,” the Air Force expressed through a post in X.

“This fundamental achievement for the Argentine Nation contributes to reinforcing our country's commitment to the activities carried out on the white continent,” he concluded.
