The British military command in the Malvinas announced new joint exercises

They will take place between October 2 and 10 and are the fourth so far in 2024. They will include land, air and sea forces.

The British Command of Forces that guarantee the colonial usurpation of the Argentine Islands in the South Atlantic, announced new military maneuvers between the first and the tenth of October. They include the three branches and will be centralized in the Monte Agradable/Mount Pleasant Complex.

This is the Ex Cape Bayonet exercise which will be made up of ground troops from the Welsh Guard , Typhoon FGF4 fighter- bombers, an Airbus Voyageur , an Atlas C1 (A400M) and several helicopters. In maritime matters, the OPV HMS Forth will be operating.

The exercises will take place in different locations. From October 2 to 7, at the military port of Mare Harbor; in the urban area of Puerto Argentino on the 6th and 7th, and in the mountain ranges of Wireless Ridge, from the 8th to the 10th.

The exercise will consist of troop and vehicle movements, with blank ammunition and possibly some fireworks in some locations, including night movements.

The Welsh Guards Regiment has been in the Malvinas since 29 July, when it replaced a Scottish Company as the infantry unit at Monte Agradable.
