The Chilean-Magallanes citizen, César Quezada , made public through his X account the route of the icebreaker and British scientific vessel Sir David Attenborough , which, as a significant feature, carries the flag of the colony established by the United Kingdom in the usurped Malvina Islands.

The modern ship, operated by the British Antarctic Survey , had left the Malvina Islands for the British Antarctic base at Rothera on December 16. But in the last 72 hours it has sailed from there, bound for the Chilean port of Punta Arenas, for “a meeting of British icebreakers,” Quezada says.
For some unreported reason, before sailing west, the ship heads for Magellan's capital across the Atlantic, after having crossed the narrow Strait of Le Maire , which separates the Isla de los Estados and the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego by just 27 kilometers, and having skirted many miles of the latter's Atlantic coast.
The navigation of the ship is not unknown at any time by the Argentine Naval Prefecture , nor by the Provincial Port Authority of Tierra del Fuego and even less by the control and monitoring system that the Fisheries Secretariat of this southern province has hidden. Therefore, its route does not escape the knowledge of the management of the Fuegian governor Gustavo Melella , who, to save his poor management; has renounced any act of defense of the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands, to align himself -from June 2024 onwards- with the degrading colonialism exhibited by the government of Javier Milei .
And in a few hours the icebreaker "RRS Sir David Attenborough" 🇫🇰 will enter the eastern mouth of the Strait of Magellan.
There he will greet the Argentine Navy post at Hito 1.

Juan Pablo Berlinger , another Chilean user of the social network X, also said just three hours ago that the Sir David Attenborough will enter through the eastern mouth of the Strait of Magellan and that during its journey it will salute the Argentine Navy post at Hito 1.
