“Following a detailed review process, the Malvina Islands Government (FIG) has decided to cease contractual negotiations with Harland and Wolff in relation to the port replacement project. Harland and Wolff was initially identified as the preferred bidder for the seaside tender in early 2024.
However, despite productive discussions, the FIG and Harland and Wolff were unable to reach a mutually acceptable commercial position. The FIG recognizes the effort and commitment demonstrated by Harland and Wolff throughout this process ,” describes the British media.
