At 07:00 on Tuesday, January 27, the Boeing C-40 Clipper of the United States Air Force (USAF) took off from Ushuaia, and at 09:34, it landed in Neuquén.

At 7:00 AM this morning , Tuesday, January 27, a U.S. Air Force (USAF) Boeing C-40 Clipper took off from the runway at Malvinas Argentinas International Airport. Two and a half hours later, at 9:34 AM , the aircraft landed in Neuquén . This can be verified through the satellite tracking platform lightradar24 .

The roadmap of the delegation headed by Republican Senator Morgan Griffith outlines a map of interests that the National Government of Javier Milei and the provincial government of Gustavo Melella have preferred to keep under a veil of silence and leaks.

Assessment in Ushuaia: What secrecy couldn't hide

The 48-hour visit to the capital of Tierra del Fuego left a trail of unsettling certainties regarding provincial sovereignty:

Neuquén: The stopover at the Energy "Fort"

The landing in Neuquén less than two hours ago is no coincidence. The province is now the main battleground in the dispute over unconventional resources.

1.    Vaca Muerta and the RIGI: The delegation arrives at a time when foreign investments are channeled through the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI), where the US seeks to displace or contain the growing supply of Chinese technology and financing for oil and gas export infrastructure.

2.    Chinese presence in the area: As in Tierra del Fuego, in Neuquén there are projects from Chinese companies (such as CIMC and the recent arrival of China Sany ) that compete directly with North American operators in oil services and technology.

3.    Critical Mining: The presence of Griffith , an expert on the Energy Committee, also points to the strategic minerals needed for the energy transition, a topic that the Embassy has already put forward as part of the agenda.

A "tutored" sovereignty

Agenda Malvinas observes with grave concern this "raid" of oversight by a foreign power through the nerve centers of our territory. The fact that the delegation moves with complete freedom—informing local governments in advance but concealing this from the public—suggests a tutelary sovereignty , where the strategic resources of Argentinians are audited by legislators of a nation that makes no secret of its view of the region as its supply reserve.
