The responsibility for analyzing the conduct of the officials fell to: Federico Sciurano (FORJA), Pablo Villegas (MPF), Juan Carlos Pino (PJ), Laura Colazo (PV), Matías Lapadula (PG), Gisela Dos Santos (ST), Natalia Gracianía (LLA), Raúl Von der Thusen (SF).

The Tierra del Fuego Legislature appointed the eight members of parliament who will lead the investigation into the political and institutional responsibilities for the installation of the British-owned radar in Tolhuin . With the participation of Veterans' Centers and broad powers to summon officials and experts, the Commission begins a countdown that will scrutinize administrative actions dating back to 2022 or earlier.

Thus, the parliamentary investigation into the radar system, funded by British and Irish capital, located at the "El Relincho" ranch, will enter its operational phase, with a start date to be set. The Tierra del Fuego Legislature formalized the formation of the Special Investigative Commission , created on April 30th, which will be tasked with uncovering how a dual-capacity technology that undermines national sovereignty and security was authorized.

The eight names of the Commission

The responsibility for analyzing the conduct of the officials involved fell to a plural representation of the House:

This political body will be joined, as a fundamental piece of legitimacy, by a member from the Malvinas Ex-Combatants Center of Ushuaia and another from the one of Río Grande , who will act ad honorem with voice and without vote, during the process.

Full powers: No one may evade the summons

The Commission will not be a forum for rhetorical debate . According to the legal instrument establishing it, it will have 90 business days (which may be extended) and powers equivalent to those of a judicial process. It may request certified copies of files from the Executive Branch, the Court of Accounts, and the State Prosecutor's Office; it will have the power to summon and question officials and employees involved in the administrative proceedings of 2023; and it may appoint technical experts and summon witnesses to reconstruct the route of the authorizations that allowed the deployment of LeoLabs near Tolhuin.

The context: Between local research and the Buenos Aires "exit"

This legislative advance comes at a time of peak geopolitical tension. While the Tierra del Fuego Commission is searching for those responsible, rumors are circulating from Buenos Aires about a possible cover-up operation regarding the radar project.

As revealed by Data Clave , there are suspicions that presidential advisor Santiago Caputo lobbied the Southern Command to have a local company "buy" the facility, thus circumventing the company's invalidation. In this scheme, the Neuss Group and its partners (linked to Banco Macro and the industrial giant Newsan ) appear as potential players in a sham "Argentinization" that the new Investigative Commission will have to examine with extreme caution.

The final report

Upon completion of their task, the parliamentarians must submit a final report to the Chamber with their conclusions regarding political and technical responsibilities . The objective is clear: to determine who opened the doors to a foreign company linked to the defense apparatus of powers that usurp our territory.

For the people of Tierra del Fuego and their war veterans, the countdown has begun. It's no longer just about dismantling a radar, but about exposing the network of complicity that jeopardized national sovereignty from within the provincial government itself.
