One of the pillars of the project is the creation of the Digital Transformation Center, to support the development of the workforce by training students in new information technologies, with the aim of promoting growth in this area.

Additionally, the Tierra del Fuego Innovation Agency, together with DirMOD and AWS, have joined Dryad to implement a rapid forest fire detection system. This initiative seeks to address a major problem that has affected the province's ecosystem in recent years.

The authorities highlighted that the vision of turning Tierra del Fuego into a Smart Island drives the implementation of new technologies, not only to solve current challenges, such as forest fires , but also to lay the foundations for sustainable development in an area. of permanent expansion in the global economy .
