Israel offers the Argentine Army Black Hawk helicopters decommissioned by the US

The Israeli sale proposal for UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters to the Argentine Army is for ten units decommissioned by the United States. They propose financing and work on updates and improvements to the units.

They offer technology transfer so that Argentina can carry out maintenance and repair locally.

The estimated cost per helicopter would be around 2 million dollars, to which the updating of the equipment must be added. Elbit Systems, the Israeli firm with experience in modernizing UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters , presented a proposal to the Argentine Army . They offer jobs and financing to improve units decommissioned by the US .

The company is currently also in charge of the modernization of 74 TAM battle tanks of our country.

In turn, the company would be willing to carry out a technology transfer so that Argentina can carry out maintenance and repair locally . This was announced as a benefit for the national industry , taking into account that Elbit Systems is a company recognized worldwide for its capabilities in advanced avionics and weapons systems .

Regarding the technical improvements to be implemented in the units, the modernization would include greater load capacity and range , new defensive systems and the ability to transport more sophisticated weapons . Being that there would be the possibility of extending the program in the future for a second batch of helicopters if necessary.
