Javier Milei wants to force the Argentine Football Association at all costs to authorize the creation of corporations and especially the arrival of British capital. He does so in Estudiantes de La Plata , through Juan Sebastián Verón , and also in Río Gallegos through the efforts of the libertarian national deputy for Santa Cruz, Juliana Santillán.
The information about this new attempt was published this Wednesday by HispanTV, (see VIDEO) through its correspondent in Argentina Sebastián Salgado ; who provides audios of the alleged conversation between Santillán and the authorities of the BanCruz Social and Sports Club.
“We have foreign investors who come from the English football league. That is one of the parties, we have to have two parties, the party interested in investing and the party that receives the investment (…) This is very important for Javier Milei, and he gave it to me, so that I can manage it”; a woman's voice is heard saying in the report's video.
Coincidentally or not, something happened at the aforementioned club on the same day of the publication. On the one hand, its Technical Director Hernán Campana resigned, and the authorities published an official statement indicating that “the club will remain in the hands of its members.”
The media reports that the attempts to privatise Argentine football now “ have their sights set on a club in Río Gallegos in Patagonia, just 700 kilometres from the NATO base” - a military enclave in the South Atlantic built and used by Great Britain and its partners - in the usurped Malvinas Islands.
The audios “are already part of an ongoing criminal complaint,” says journalist Sebastián Salgado.
