Brigadier General Xavier Julián Isaac , chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Argentine Armed Forces, visited the headquarters of the United States Southern Command (Southcom). This was announced by the Spanish website specialized in military matters infodefensa.com

During his visit, he met with U.S. Army General and Southcom Commander Laura Richardson , to discuss bilateral cooperation and deepen the defense partnership between both countries.

Defense cooperation between Argentina and the United States includes support for Argentine defense modernization, international peacekeeping operations, disaster assistance, cyber defense exercises, cold weather operations expert exchanges, human rights symposiums, maritime security exercises, and security and security training engagements aviation.

Likewise, the bilateral conference on Opportunities and Challenges in the Matter of the Defense Industry was held, whose objective was to promote investments in the Argentine defense industry and encourage dialogue on technological innovation in this sector. During the event, panels were held that addressed key topics such as international defense policy and the potential for bilateral cooperation between Argentina and the United States.
