The historical debt of the State with the former combatant soldiers of the Malvinas enters Congress

It is aimed exclusively at former conscript soldiers who participated in effective combat actions within the TOM.

The national representative of the Frente de Todos (FdT) Victoria Tolosa Paz and her peer and former combatant Aldo Adolfo Leiva will present this Thursday afternoon in the National Congress, a bill for the "Historical Reparation of Malvinas" for the benefit of those in compliance with the Compulsory Military Service Law, they participated in the Malvinas War in 1982.

In this way, the project proposes the benefit of "Historical Malvinas Reparation" exclusively for conscripts;   for those who "were incorporated as soldiers into conscription service" and participated in the South Atlantic conflict between April 2 and June 14, 1982, in "effective combat actions in the Malvinas Theater of Operations (TOM), in the Georgia and South Sandwich Islands, or actually entered combat in the area of the South Atlantic Theater of Operations (TOAS) as well as civilians who were fulfilling service or support functions" in these places.

They propose that the amount of reparation be equivalent to the value of "104 minimum pensions of the Argentine Integrated Pension System (SIPA)", which would be paid in "24 consecutive and updated installments according to Article 32 of Law 24,241 on retirement mobility."
