The great profits from illegal fishing in the Malvinas make the development of the Spanish naval industry possible.

The president of the Malvina Islands Fishing Companies Association (Fifca), Cheryl Roberts , confirmed that the shipyards of Vigo and Marín (Galicia) are in the process of building three new fishing vessels for the companies Copemar, Pereira and Pescapuerta, and that for this they are investing about “100 million euros", equivalent to about 110 million dollars.

This is the expansion of the fleet that is based in the Spanish ports of Galicia and that since the late 1980s, with permission and now in partnership with the usurpers of the Malvinas; They take a more than important slice of the 240,000 annual tons of squid, toothfish, toothfish and other species, which are extracted from the Argentine waters of the Western South Atlantic, with illegal British permission.

The information was published weeks ago by the Galician newspaper Faro de Vigo , in a note highlighting the celebration that took place in Puerto Argentino, for the achievement of having established a corporate relationship between the British who usurped the Malvinas Islands and the Iberians of Galicia in order to expand the illegal exploitation of Argentine fishing resources, and with special joy, the renewal of fishing licenses for a period of 25 years.

More than 100 people related to the Malvinas fishing sector and its Galician partners, crew members and representatives of the Island Administration met in the capital, Stanley.
