The Fuegian national senator Pablo Daniel Blanco presented a request for reports addressed to the Ministry of Defense and the Foreign Ministry to request information related to the latest events that occurred in the Malvinas, linked to British military exercises in the archipelago, and other issues related to the immediate future of the foreign policy of the national government regarding their sovereignty.

The senator also included in his request that information be sent on “the scope and purposes of the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Worship in relation to the recognition of the rights of the islanders and that, in a general way, Explain what the government's policy will be regarding the Malvinas issue and what issues will make up the so-called “Malvinas Agenda” agreed upon between the President of the Nation and the British Chancellor David Cameron.

Blanco highlighted that “the permanent claim for the sovereignty of the Malvinas, Georgia and South Atlantic Islands and their surrounding areas is a constitutional mandate that requires its consideration in every government action.
