Milei despises the National Flag, the Argentine People and General Belgrano

In yet another demonstration of his contempt for the sky-blue and white, Javier Milei skipped the Flag Day event in Rosario. A reprehensible act that we Argentines must never forget.

He didn't go to Rosario; he led the Flag Day event at the Argentine Polo Field.

Javier Milei decided not to attend the traditional ceremony in front of the Flag Monument in Rosario and instead chose to commemorate the anniversary of General Manuel Belgrano 's death with an activity in Buenos Aires. To that end, he led the Flag Day event this Friday at the Campo Argentino de Polo , located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo, "where he gave a brief speech in which he once again questioned what he calls the political 'caste,' which he accused of using the Armed Forces as a 'scapegoat' to justify cutting defense spending," as reported by Crónica.

The ceremony was attended by the unspeakable tenant of the Casa Rosada, Chief of Staff Guillermo Francos , and Ministers Patricia Bullrich (Security), Luis Petri (Defense), Mario Lugones (Health), Federico Sturzenegger (State Transformation and Deregulation), and Mariano Cúneo Libarona (Justice). Also in attendance were Secretaries Karina Mile i (General of the Presidency) and María Ibarzabal Murphy (Legal and Technical); Presidential Spokesperson Manuel Adorni ; and Speaker Martín Menem of the Chamber of Deputies.

A few years ago, Milei said in an interview: "Flags and such things are borders. When they celebrate Flag Day, to me it's like I see a wall, all made of bricks. That's how I see the flag." Nothing should surprise us, since when he was a presidential candidate, he raised the flag of the State of Israel in the middle of his campaign . A complete affront to the Argentine people and to the homeland.

On February 27, 1812, Belgrano established a second battery on the banks of the Paraná River, which he named Independencia, equipped with three cannons, ammunition, and a garrison. Before it, he raised a blue and white flag, ordering his troops: "Let us swear to defeat all enemies, both internal and external, and South America will be the temple of Independence and Liberty."

It should be remembered that, unlike Milei , a puppet of Anglo-Yankee Zionist imperialism, General Manuel Belgrano was one of the most selfless heroes in our history. A true patriot and revolutionary, capable of giving everything for his country.

A man who knew how to embody the best of the spirit of the May Revolution and who, when, for a moment, many faltered before the intrigues and maneuvers of the counterrevolution that sought to impose Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisneros at the head of the first patriotic government, did not hesitate to publicly make the following oath, placing his right hand on the cross of his sword: "I swear to the Fatherland, and to my companions, that if by three o'clock in the afternoon of the following day the viceroy has not been overthrown, by the faith of a knight, I will overthrow him with my weapons."

A personality without double talk who was mobilized by a main objective: the liberation of the Homeland from Spanish tyranny and the well-being and happiness of the people .

A true promoter of cutting-edge ideas for his time, a great scholar and popularizer of political economy who spared no effort to make them a reality.

A defender of agriculture, industry and commerce, he fought tirelessly to try to make his contemporaries understand that ideas had to be put at the service of the cause of the people, of "the true children of the Fatherland" , and not of the interests of oligarchic minorities, whom he called "the denatured" who only defend their own interests to the detriment of the general interest.

Belgrano, in addition to being a pioneer in journalism, was a great disseminator of pedagogical and educational ideas and proposals.

The strategist who led the Jujuy exodus, that feat accomplished by the forces of the Northern Army and the population, is a clear example of what a people in arms can do, determined to fight to the bitter end for their liberation and that of their territory. A strategy that paved the way for the triumph of patriotic arms, first in Tucumán and then in Salta.

Let us never forget that this national flag, which has always filled us with pride, represents the highest values and objectives of the May Revolution. It was also the flag sworn upon by the Congressmen of Tucumán, who declared that there was no place for tyranny in these lands, exclaiming: "No old master, no new master. No master at all." And it was the same flag raised by General San Martín when, leading our grenadiers, he crossed the Andes to come to the aid of the sister peoples of Chile and Peru.

What an abysmal difference there is between that Belgrano , hero of our independence and creator of our national flag, and this pygmy who crawls before the great powers of Western imperialism: the United States, Great Britain and Israel.
